Dive Deep In December!

This week is the last week of the term and our last little inquiry focus is Diving Deep In December!
Diving Deep In December is all about people in poverty. Our aim is to make something to say about what Charlie and I are thankful for here is a link to our presentation! This one down below is the slide that Koka Jess made to explain to us what we are doing and what to do. :)

Finding Fractions Of A Whole

Lately in my math's  workshop we've been learning how to find Fractions of a whole.  I hope you enjoy my video of my math's Screencastify DLO (Digital learning object)

Storybird Poem

Lately Moana Learning Hub has been making poems on the website, Storybird. Every week we normally get an assignment\poem to create, over a picture that suits the title. We also get words to go  on top of the image. This is my Storybird poem I hope you enjoy!

Solving Multiplication in Parts with Larger Numbers.

Lately in our maths workshop we have been doing Solving Multiplication in parts with larger Numbers and every time we learn something new in a maths workshop we make a DLO which  is short for Digital Learning Object. You can either do a Screencastify, like I did, or you can do some animated slides on google slides. I find Screencastifys are quicker to make so I hope you enjoy my Screencastify.

Digital Timetable

Hello again
For the last eight weeks we have been following and filling in our digital time table. Every week on Sunday afternoons we get sent this form to fill out. The form has all the workshops that are going to be held this week. So say if I signed up for maths with Matua Fergus or  a writing goup with Koka Ngaire. we would click on the appropriate level. Once we filled out the form we head to the Moana Learning Hub to get up the Weekly Time Table and fill it in with our work shop times. Obviously we don't have work shops every single block we will have empty blocks amd sometimes  evan whole days with out work shops so we fill thoose in with Other activities like working on maths, inquiry, word work and other activities.  These other activities are called Links to Learning because we are practicing what we have been learning.
 I love the Time Table!!!
